January 26th issue of  So CooL SoCooL – The Good Times Featured Stories got deleted by ME … Argh.  Lesson learned = Sometimes “The Paper” doesn’t do it’s programmed automatic update as planned and one has to manually initiate that update before beginning to create “So CooL SoCooL – The Good Times” for the next day.

I don’t know if you’ve thought at all lately about SoCooL, SoCooLBob, etc. … but … following the principle of adding one more good thing, following the notion that technology continues to improve what I do, if I do, So CooL SoCooL now has a number of highly upgraded pages,  nearly 100 primarily positive television shows, AND an auto and manually updated newspaper which also features primarily positive stories, photos and videos.

AWESOME = SoCooL

It’s really quite incredible including considering it’s all put together by a 66 year old currently disabled cancer patient.

What it lacks is much time for me to attempt to sell something … LIKE support from community oriented business people.

Near as I can recall, though I haven’t seen the “with sound” replay lately, the whistle blew after the ball was stripped, though it may have been the delayed “intention” of the referee to blow it earlier.  Sound wise I believe it was right after the ripping out of the ball.

Currently, nearly 100 primarily positive TV shows, over 50,000 videos, updated daily AND a new primarily positive daily newspaper.

It’s LIKE I was just able to hire an additional army to help me find things primarily positive. If it’s your first visit to So CooL and/or SoCooL’s Facebook and/or So CooL SoCooL The Good Times, you may notice that each is updated moment to moment, daily.  The great thing about the Facebook Page is you can generate the page back to SoCooLBob’s birth, if you want, and you can review the day the week the month.  You will find the additional benefit that it means you can accumulate a lot of positive thoughts, ideas, feelings as you choose your own favorites. The same thing is true of the TV Shows and the newspaper.  The newspaper is updated, refreshed, re-booted at about 9am Pacific Time daily.  It is then updated as the day proceeds.  Looking at yesterday’s paper is looking at a completed paper … the same thing about the day before, etc.  ALL the So CooL SoCooL The Good Times are available in the archives by date.

The piano player at Mayo Clinic in Rochester,MN Tuesday played “Smile When Your Heart Is Breaking”. But the person that stole my heart was the girl in a wheel chair dancing to the music. It was beautiful. I talked with Shelley Knothe, the dancer and Mary Houk, the girl signing, and the piano player Jane, on Tuesday and it was a” Blessed” day! and how it benefits everyone … including “the garment industry.”

I would, again humbly submit, that this lack of copyright
protection … or more specifically the current solution to
copyright protection as it exists on … for example …
YouTube and several other media forms is, to me,
very similar and equally AWESOME in terms of benefits
for EVERYONE.

While I know little about the garment industry,
except what I just learned, I do “know” something about
carrying around the notion of “freedom” and “connectivity”
and “open communication” as it continually is being
demonstrated on the internet …
… which, didn’t exist, for all practical purposes
fifteen years ago.

I, third time, humbly submit it is a
MUCH BETTER WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY,
because of this demonstration of freedom, etc.
and IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE !!!

The current method of “copyright protection” demonstrated by
YouTube, and many of it’s “copyright holders,” is that they have:

a) invented a fabulous technology that can “identify” potentially
“copyrighted content”

b) pre-decided, in 99 percent of the cases, that the “copyright holder” WANTS you to use their “content” and/or at the very least, accepts the notion that their is a BENEFIT to THEM of a system that
allows such a thing

What it means to this “rose-budding” producer, entertainer, international television executive …

I have nearly UNLIMITED CONTENT to work with …

I had a conversation with the marketing director person at Copperfield’s Books recently about their Twitter account.

As we went through the conversation and as I considered the various aspects of what it was about I realized I had never seen a description like the following … nor could I find one when I googled the question “how my twitter account works.”

I got some other things, good things I’m sure, but not this “thing.”

The SoCooL thing is I get to print it here in the SoCooL VLOG BLOG … I’ll undoubtedly get some more input on if I’m correct in this description, if it has value, etc. … plus, plus, plus.

THREE PAGES

There are basically three pages associated with every Twitter account.

PAGE ONE

The page the public sees, whether logged in or not, when they click on your Twitter account.

What THEY see when THEY click on that page is Your Tweets

PAGE TWO

The page YOU see when you access YOUR TWITTER ACCOUNT. What you see when you access your own account page and you are logged in is the Tweets of those that account follows. This is NOT a PAGE that the public, your followers, those you follow see. This is the page only YOU sees. ( i think – yes?) IF, HOWEVER, there is a Tweet on this page that YOU WANT your “audience” to see you simply RE-TWEET that Tweet and it becomes YOUR RETWEET and is now seen on Page One AND on the Page Two page of those who follow you.
PAGE THREE

The reply page. This is a page that is Tweets that contain @YOURACCOUNT in the tweet. These tweets show up as replies to YOU and can be seen by YOU and others by clicking on @THISTWITTERACCOUNT in the control panel on Page One or Page Two. It takes you directly to the reply page.

Interestingly enough, just adding #to the web address doesn’t seem to work manually or in a direct link like above. Mmmm …

SoCooLBob is getting “up there” (SoCooL Higher) ,
64 Years “Young.”

My “last” infusion of (socool.com/chemo) (number 42 all time)
will occur Jan 14 and 15 – GLW

Then, perhaps, I’ll get a reprieve from further treatments
for minimum 6 months and/or up to forever (refer current prayers godpoweronline.com)

SoCooLJon And Fiance Jewel have given
birth to a SoCooLBob grandson SoCooLJon Jr.

SoCooLJon and Jewel’s “landlord” began treating
them “less than well” in November while SoCooLJewel
was “giving birth” … hello?

Creating a “desire” to move that was a dream, a wish,
a prayer, that wasn’t supposed to happen for at least
another 8 months … glw … if, if,if, etc.

SoCooLJon, while helping a “client” got a face to face
meeting with one of the principles of a major software
company that has a need for skilled “in home/office”
support people. This principle was impressed with Jon’s
skills. Jon has met with the other two principles, been offered
and accepted a job with very reasonable pay and prospects
for the future.

Jon will get to exercise his many skills FROM HOME!

HOME can now be wherever he wants it to be within reason in
Northern California.

WE ALL NOW WANT IT TO BE in a very nice THREE BEDROOM
house on the golf course in Rohnert Park (similar to the house
I prayed for and lived in when Jon was an infant) … and …
GLW … we’ll seal the deal shortly and be moving in on the
day of my last scheduled infusion. Jan 15, 2010
